and set a new PB, but not by much. 13.208 @ 104.93mph with a 2.013 60', air temp was ~75F with ~50% humidity. Yeah, I can't drive...need to get out to the strip more often and practice. Still had a ton of fun raping a Mustang GT, LS2 GTO, LS1 Camaro, and some poor soul in a pickup that ran a 16.8 (that was before the track officials figured out my car was not 'normal'). :twisted: For some reason I had trouble getting good burnouts going tonight which didn't help my short times at all...that was a first for me as I've always come home with the car caked in rubber. My tune is still far from perfect too. I think with some further tweaking and an improvement in my driving skills that the car has 12's in her with the 2.8 pulley. I just need to coax it out of her.

Anyone have thoughts on the following?

Tires: I run 26x10.50x16 MT ET drags at ~15psi...no tubes as far as I know. Does this pressure seem fine or should I go lower?
Shift points: I have my 1-2 shift set for 6k, 2-3 shift is set for 6300rpm. With the S1x cam and 105# CC springs I know I'd benefit from spinning higher, but is it a good idea with a 135k mile motor?

I used to run the same tires but I ran tubes.
With tubes I would run the tires at 12.5 PSI.

Hmm, it wouldn't hurt to lower the tire pressure then...probably start at 14psi then back it off each run. I have them marked with a grease pen so when I see those marks move or start loosing speed on the back half of the track I guess I'll know that I've gone too far. :lol: I'll probably raise the shifts to 6500rpm next time around too.

Thats a good run with the high 60' time.
The age of the motor should be fine to bump up the shift points, try that before pullying down.

20-22* KR free on 93oct with the 2.8 pulley. I run a ~95oct mixture at the track just as a precaution.

Of course, I won't be hitting 12's for a while now. See my 'A sad day' topic.
