Top Speed Run
Second Documented Attempt

Cluster is off 5-10 MPH more than it shows, Different tire size than factory (Shifts from first to second at 55 MPH instead of 45)

No, this isnt street racing. Was Performed on a very wide, extremely long closed road in the country side at night.

Third attempt will be after intercooling, new intake, N* tb, and new set of tires that are rated about 150.

Slightly upset with the accelration after 90-100, but with some more power and later down the road, lowering the car, should help.

Along with the tires, a brake upgrade with fresh fluid and/or DOT 4 would add some additional safety.

Use some sort of recordable, high end, GPS verification like Dragy if you want something widely accepted as accurate.

I have a App on my phone that bluetooth connects to a obII reader that grabs data off my PCM. It does log speed as well as all the fancy stuff. Torque something, I paid like 8 bucks to use it. Was gonna use that app plus a secondary camera attatched to a helmet to show not just my phone showing the speed but the entire dash and road.

Brakes are fresh, so is fluid. Safety is my biggest concern.

Torque is the same as your cluster, since it's reading the VSS. The reading is off from the factory and you say its off from that. What I suggested is what everyone verifies thier high speed runs with at sanctioned events, like the Texas mile etc. If you're looking to record something official, that's the route to go.
