I really didn't know what I was doing then, badly. I wanted to instantly change my Bonnie into a race car. Why I picked 4200 I am not sure. BUT, I am not sure that's what it got set at honestly. I asked to have this and that shut off with the new PCM and mostly those things were not shut off. I don't accuse Ryan. I think he looked at my confused request and did his best. I am happy with it. I can get it reprogrammed when I've finished a few mod plans that will let Ryan's work excel.

Note if you pull the injectors to obserbe fuel delivery...make sure you leave the plugs in and disconnect the ign. Believe me

Give Ryan a call and have him cut you another prom with the shift points raised back up to stock. You are giving up 1000 rpm worth of the power band for no good reason. Come to think of it, have him raise the fuel cutoff redline a few hundred RPM while you are in there. The motor can spin faster than the stock redline without doing harm, so bumping it up a little creates some headroom between the shifts and the fuel cutoff. (It's insurance against the fuel being cut-off during WOT.)

Then drive it down the strip with the gear selector in Drive... the PCM and the transmission's governor will take of the shift timing, so you can concentrate on driving the car as straight as possible down the track.

If I understand you Clm I need to have my shift points set at 5200 (Stock) which applies to all shifts (e.g., 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to overdrive) I also need to have my fuel cutoff limiter increased 300 RPM's. That's 5200 + 300 = 5500 RPM fuel cutoff point.
Right?

Yep, that sounds right...I don't have the stock BIN file for your car and you may not have the simple fuel cutoff and resume values. Ask Ryan if the values are in your PCM, he'll know for sure. My car is older, uses a different model ECM from yours, and cuts at 5700 rpm with a resume of 5400 rpm with the stock BIN file.

The deal with the RPM cutoff is that you should never bang into it in the real world...the transmission should always shift on the command from the PCM or it's own built in governer before it hits the redline. But, if for some reason it doesn't, or if you rev the motor in neutral it cuts off the fuel supply to the engine by turning off the injectors. Doesn't do any harm except later if you choose to use the bottle...the mixture will suddenly go super-lean in those conditions. Hence my suggestion to have it raised.
