For those that have them, is it a noticeable worthwhile difference? Hairpin turn MPH increase?

Yes. I got my FE5 of a Buick which had the same type of bar. Seller was a scrap yard on ebay.

04 05 BONNEVILLE STABILIZER BAR FRONT HANDLING SUSPENSION OPT FE5 418388
It installed without modification and the handling was noticeably better. I got GXP struts put in at the same time.

I went from stock SSEi suspension to full GXP - front and rear sway bars, front and rear struts, upper strut reinforcement bar. The difference was very noticeable. The car sits just a hair higher and rides like it's on rails.

Sway bars are an improvement for sure. I didn't really start racing/tracking mine until after I swapped those in, so I couldn't give you any sort of concrete data but I'd definitely say they're worth it. Highly recommend polyurethane end links to go along with the sway bars as well. The GXP strut brace isn't worth it though. It didn't have any noticeable difference in handling for me, however it does look nice under the hood.

Did the 2004-05SLE with the GXP kit get the sways and front and rear struts?

nope. at least my 05 SLE didn't. Don't think it was an option for them either, but I could be wrong.

btw - 2005 was the only year that SLE's had GXP styling. 2004 had the normal SSEi style.
