So I have a friend that goes to WSU and invited me and the girlfriend down for the homecoming game weekend. I had alot of fun, we didn't even go to the game cause the weather was crappy but there was plenty of bar hopping lol. Never been down there, its a nice area! The drinking and just being lazy was a lot of fun but the drive was probably my favorite part. Gina made the 250+ mile trip nicely with no issues and I made it there and back on less than 3/4 tank, I love the fact these cars have such a large tank. Only bad part was that I was reminded how badly I need to replace the rear shocks and do plugs and wires. Friday night there wasn't much site seeing in the dark other than the refinery off of 52 that's lit up like a Christmas tree! I took 52 thru Rochester on Friday and hopped on I-90 to 43 into Winona. Lots of hills and ear popping, going into Winona has to be close to or more than a 1,000 foot elevation drop! Yesterday we took 61 home, it was a much more scenic route and the fall colors and river were gorgeous! I managed to snap a few pics along the way and thought I'd share. Also...props to Matt (nubuilder)for making it to the St. Cloud meet a couple weeks ago from LaCrosse WI, that is a HAUL! But there is some nice country to drive thru along the way.

Nice quiet roads! Interesting to see your HUD as I've never seen the one in the 2000+ before. It looks the same as the one in my car - I had wondered if they had made any changes.

Some of those backroads look familiar, except last time I saw them they were covered in snow, that was one of the trips I took in my 01 SSEi.

And on HUDs, the 00+ project more information than the 92-99. But cosmetically the font is similar.
