Plenty to see at the Beaulieu Aujojumble and Automart today. Here's a selection, including some of the more interesting cars that I spotted in the car park...

Volvo 66:

^ The smallest car ever to wear the Volvo badge - it's effectively a re-badged Dutch-built Daf 66. Volvo took over Daf in 1976.

Volkswagen Scirocco Mk1:

Rover P6 3500:

Standard Vanguard Ute:

Sunbeam Alpine:

1959 Triumph Herald Coupe:

Riley 1.5:
Image

1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350:

There was a great display of Morrises, including this Morris Minor police panda car:

Morris Minor Van:

Morris Marina Coupe:

Morris Isis Traveller:

1931 Morris Major:

Morris 1800:

Morris Cowley:

Morris 8 Series E:

Car of the show for me was this ultra-rare Lancia Beta Coupe Hi-Fi - one of only two known survivors:

Lotus Esprit:

1972 Mercury Cougar:

1949 MG YT:

1950 Lagonda 2.6-Litre:

...and another, in not such good condition:

German-plated Jaguar 420G:

Jaguar XKR-S:

Humber Hawk:

There was a good display of Hillman Imps too, including these two:

Honda CRX:

Hillman Avenger Estate:

1963 Ford Galaxie:

Citroen CX Estate:

1948 Chrysler New Yorker:

Ferrari Mondial:

Chevrolet Traverse:

Chevrolet Apache:

1965 Chevrolet Corvette:

BMW 1602:

1994 BMW 840Ci:

Austin A55 Cambridge:

Armstrong-Siddeley Standard 17, I think:

Aston Martin Rapide:

Alfa Romeo 6C-1750 Turismo:

I only made one purchase in the Autojumble, which was this '70s/'80s Soviet-made model of a RAF van (RAF as in the Latvian van maker, not the Royal Air Force):
Image
^ It was a snip at just £2. It cost me less than my coffee! Not something you see every day, and couldn't resist it at that price. Appalling build quality though - the doors don't line up properly and drop a little when you open them - probably just like the real thing!

Great pics!!

I don't know a whole lot about European vehicles, but when I see those classic American cars, I start drooling. That New Yorker is a real beauty!

I did chuckle a bit when I saw the Traverse.

I never thought I'd see a Morris Isis traveller again, I think they only made 1000 or so including series 1 and 2. Thanks for the pics!.

My father owned a series one saloon in the early '60s, he always had fond memories of it. Mind you petrol was 5 shillings per gallon at the time.

Roger.

Beautiful cars! Thanks for posting.

That Rapide looks so good. And that MKI Scirocco.

It must be a real joy to pilot that yellow vette in Europe...I can just imagine how it must rattle and shake the mirrors off those little cars at the traffic lights with those side cannons...

Thanks for the great pics... ;)
