Attended Wheels Day yesterday. Held at Aldershot in southern England, this is the largest one-day car show in the UK. Got to meet 'rustyroger', who greeted me at the gate, which was really cool. So much to see and so little time though.

Here's a few photos of some of the cars, and trucks, that caught my eye...

Yes, that's my Delta 88 Simon.

Sorry I didn't get to do more than say Hi at the gate.
I was suffering a bad case of "Man Flu" which as any man can testify is worse than childbirth or open heart surgery without anasthetic. Pretty much spent the day using up boxes of tissues and feeling sorry for myself.

Glad you put up the pics, the three of us that came in my car didn't manage to bring a camera between us.

Hope we meet up at another show later this year, and I'm in better shape to socialise.

Roger.

No problem. I was running around like a blue-assed fly with my mate Stu, trying to get round the whole show before 2pm. Sore feet afterwards! So much to see though. If I had more time I would have taken more photos too.

Some pretty cool cars there - wish I could bring a few of those UK-only models State-side, just to have something unique!

I think the '65 Bonneville hardtop/convertable was one of the most beautiful cars ever built. JMHO - BC

Very cool cars! In particular, the Audi, 58 Chevy, and 59 Bonneville. After a little reading on that Iso Rivolta, that's a pretty cool car, too. Gotta love Giugiaro designed cars...

So did Audi take those styling cues fom the Jensen Interceptor, or is it the other way around? It sure looks Jensenesque! I cant tell how big it is, but I know the Jensen is a pretty big car. Thanks for posting the pics Simon! :beerchug:

I guess technically the Jensen came out before the 100... The Audi is a little smaller than an Interceptor, considerably lighter, too.
