Before I started driving I remember mom pulling in the garage with the '93 SSE one time and I noticed one of the fog lights were out. I was wrong, she had caught a bird in the foglight hole, haha.

I've hit a rabbit, two squirrels and a turtle. The turtle is interesting...but I won't go into details.

But another kind of funny story was the first time my brother, Brennan drove the '93 it was just me riding with him. We set out to run an errand and on the way back home a turkey came out of the woods at the last second, trying to take off. Brennan hit the brakes but smacked it anyway. It got hurled over to the ditch where it wobbled off. There wasn't much damage, just the headlight bracket and one of the clear corners I had JUST gotten the weekend before...

I have hit a few things...butt breathing turtles (blannding turtle) a couple squirrels a fox (on a trip back to Ontario from Saskatchewan....thing *dang* near flipped the trailer)

Most memorable was the wild turkey that committed suicide flying into my work truck ('05 dodge sprinter YUCK) it hit the door it sounded like a shotgun it was so loud scared the beegeeeeezzzussss out of me ....i checked for wounds on myself then checked the truck there was a dent in the door almost 2 feet across.....it came out of nowhere , i had seen the turkeys in the cemetery on the side of the road but they were way far in.... this guy just couldn't take it any more i guess.

had lots o'splainin' to do to my boss.....now i am called the turkey killer at work.
sucker was frikkin' huge ended up in the freezer of one of the locals houses....after i assured him I wasn't about to, and my boss sure as heck wasn't about to call the Yogis

yeah and 1500 bucks to fix the truck

when it comes to deer, i have been run into by them. but never hit one square on. they will usually come running up from the roadside, usually when the road is next to a lake or river, and are probably blinded by the headlights enough to not see what they are about to hit...i did have a grouse fly at me while i was on my bike once. luckily it hit the windshield and not me. bounced off and i believe it just kept right on flying....i, on the other hand, proceeded with a bit more caution the rest of the ride. :eek2:

The front bumper of my 92 sse had cracks on either side of the lower opening so it would open up a little while driving. One summer day I walked in fron of the car to see a 6-7" long frog hanging by its head from the crack. Somehow it had gotten lodged in the crack and dangled there like a hanged prisoner. I left it there for a while I thought it was so funny.

Same car I ran over a deer that the car in front of me hit. I just skimmed over it and ended up with meat and flesh dangling from every sharp edge under the car.

Also had a deer run right into me, crap all over the side of my car, then get aggressive with me when it woke up. Had i been carrying back then I wouldve put it out of its annoying misery.
