well I finally got my chance at the track.. I know I was a little dissapointed with my time, but I'm sure some of the other guys where ok with there's, and I'll let them post up and tell there storys.

Run 1: got traction, but didn't keep the rev's up high enough for a good launch.

I made a total of five runs, one 13.7 and the rest were all 13.8x and all five runs were between 98 and 99 MPH. I KNOW I can rip off at least a 13.5 by removing the flex fan and going electric fan as well as dropping a 750 CFM carb on it and ditching the junk 600 CFM on it right now.

I hope to be low 13s MAYBE high 12s in the spring :twisted:

Actually...Jerry, I just noticed you bested my 60' time when you made the pass in my car, you pulled a 2.177 And actually I just poked through all my time slips and that's the best 60' the '01 has pulled. I've never got into the 2.1X before. My 14.5 run was a 2.34 60'.

You beat me off the line in my own car :sad:

Though I gotta say those Goodyear Eagle GT's probably had a ton to do with that...they grip gooood. Still can't just stomp on the pedal but I could get to the floor much quicker without breaking loose.

Actually we went head to head the first three runs we did. Sadly though his best for the day was against someone else, that would have been a very nice run!

I think if it wasn't so crazy busy and Peter was able to make more runs to get used to the car and the track he would have given me a serious run for the money.
