Well I went to Byron Dragway on Sat in hopes of getting a PB, but no...
I ran a:
1/4: 15.038
MPH: 93.5
60': 2.303
RT: .207
FWI, 180tstat, solid mount, Dunlop SP Sport Signature tires

I think what kept me from getting better than my 14.987 PB was the amount of fuel I had in the car this time, a lil over a 1/4 tank, and when I hit 14s(i know just barely but 14s non the less) I was almost on E. Anways I saw Kyle(Allmachtige) run like a raped-ape (compared to me and even though I know he says he has some more tuning to do, you can ask him what time he got) and I had a good time all around!!!

Your 60' is hurting you. Try pulling a wheel speed sensor and stalling the car up to about 1200 rpm before rolling into the throttle over the period of about a second. Try lowering your tire pressure to about 22lb and try raising your ELC all the way. A 2.0 60' will net you a 14.5

When marty and I went to the track, we disconnected the WSS's, and I did nice burnouts. Lock the parking brake while in the water, get the tires so they're smoking, and release the parking brake. That's what gave me 2.159 60' times. We weren't able to figure out the ELC trick, lol. I got 9.308 in the 1/8 mile, which correlates to a 14.6 in the 1/4.

Yup WSS's were pulled and ELC was way up, tires at 26psi. Was up around 2000 on launch with little wheel spin on launch. Just couldnt punch into 14s for some reason, I think I need to test a couple sensors (mainly MAF, or just replace) to get some more acccurate readings to the PCM. Running Dunlop SP Sport Sinatures that are 15 mos. old so tires may be lacking a lil since last summer when I hit 14.983(correction from first post), when I hit 2.197 60' which is posted in 1/4 times PB post. I think 14.5s are a bit outta reach, but I really think my extra fuel in the tank did not help, so maybe 14.7s. IDK I just need to get my trans rebuilt with a bit of steeper gear (either PCS or torque converter clutch solenoid are going out, shifts fine on hard throttle but part throttles shift hard after warmed up under normal driving) so I can mod cause I believe any mods are just gonna really trash my trans. And doing the water box on regualar radials doenst do too much but muk up the traction, non-drag radials arent meant to be spun hot.

ELC disconnect is really easy, unhook the level sensor on drivers side, turn key ON, hit AIR button in trunk and let her raise up like a 70's stinkbug stance, then pull the ELC fuse under seat so it doesnt bleed off.

Let me know next time you guys are going to Bryon I need some pre-times before I change FDR ratio. And some runs on and off the bottle.

I might be going this Saturday (May 2nd) if weather permits.

I need to rip the final tread off these RS-A's and see if my tuning is making any progress.

I am enticed by this 200ft longer track :bsnicker:. A group of TCG people are going out Sunday. Depending on what day I'm getting my Wideband bung installed I may go out as i did some WOT runs last night with 0 KR and my fuel trims finally are looking good since i got a new Delco O2 sensor.

I did burnouts with my tripletreds, and I believe that they made a difference. I had no wheelspin off the line, and got 2.159 60' times. I didn't have the ELC pumped up, either.

I just powerbraked it to about 1800, where I felt the converter lock up. I didn't actually look at the Tach, I was worried about catching the lights.
