Started the polishing process with the FLEX last night. I am in utter amazement at the amount of filth that was on the pad (a Lake Country Orange), on what I would consider to be a pretty clean car (as I wipe it down daily), and I only did a first pass on the hood, drivers side of the roof, trunk, headlights and taillights (both of which came out amazing BTW). The pad was black.

As most of us know, since I live close to Woodward, I go there almost every weekend. But lately the cops in "royal joke" seem to have gotten ridiculous so I haven't gone the last couple weeks. As in if you have a car that even looks nice they kick you out of the various businesses very quickly. I went to Potbelly sandwich and barely got done with my food and the police were telling us to leave. They got to the point where it made the news.

I have a feeling Will will avoid Royal Oak this year. He's done donating to them.

All I have left on the first pass with the FLEX, is the front end. Again, I'm amazed at how such a clean car gets the pad absolutely black. Also noted that my "V" badges on the side are faded badly... SO I'd like to get those swapped out before going.

My plan is to leave CaNaDa on Wednesday afternoon, get home that night, tie up any loose ends on the SSEi, and be ready for some cruising by Thursday evening.

I'm home this weekend so it's going to be a scramble to get the SSEi back on all 4 and ready for more. Have to finish the brake hydraulics, replace a wheel bearing, fix an oil leak, get some new rubber for the new wheels, and get the HIDs in. Can't wait to hear the turbo spool!

On a side note, we got the most rain here in a long time yesterday and there is lots of flooding. Closer to the city, especially on 696 and 75, many of the underpasses are completely submerged.
