Hi all,

I have a lead on an '05 SE w/69k for $3,900 - Seems too good to be true but it looks clean. Been Bonneville-less for a couple years and want one back. Does anyone have a sense on the price/mileage on this one?

Old login didn't work - maybe got purged cuz I haven't posted since I sold the '88 - year and trim had to be filled in even tho I don't own one yet.

you have to check that thing: 15 years old - bad rust?

for the same reason you shouldn't think too much about a chick before you ask her out, dont assume anything before you THOROUGHLY get it checked.
4000 is a hefty tag: make sure its worth it.

Thanks for this 96 SSEi - rust may not be an issue if California's been it's only home. But the low mileage suggests a few things to me - like maybe chronic mechanic problems. And if it wasn't maintained well - freeway's are hard on a car that's not kept up.

The link - hard to tell at first glance - do you know if it's an actual car for sale or a preview of the '05 Bonneville? Since I don't know the early 2k's Bonnevilles - do you know if those years tended to have common mechanical troubles? I had an '88 and I loved it. Good to work on and the 3800 was a powerhouse. I need one that's durable and not so tough to do the maintenance on. Driving a 98 Malibu and it's pretty low on the durability scale - ugly to work on too.

Thanks again!
