Year and Trim: 2004 Bonneville gxp
Hey everybody. I was recently given a 04 Bonneville gxp from a buddy of mine. I'm familiar with the Northstar platform and sadly I am also well acquainted with head stud repair. I had owned a 99 Cadillac eldorado etc for awhile and built it up a bit. Im here because I enjoy modifying everything I drive, and want to learn more about my vehicle. So far the car needs upper strut mounts, the bushings are extremely worn. And a few of my guages are wonky (tach, temp, fuel) but thats it, mechanically. My plans are to get it a little lower, and do exhaust work for now, going to make a full exhaust including headers.
Look forward to learning from you guys and also I hope to contribute a fair amount as well.
Thanks

Welcome to the club!

Gauges being wonky typically means they need new stepper motors. Lowering it requires ordering custom springs through Coil Spring Specialties, which would be a great time to replace your struts, strut mounts, shocks, and shock mounts.
