I just bought a 92 SSE with 112000 miles. It is in pretty good shape but bumpers and mirrors have faded. Red metallic paint & interior & red wheels. Still has tool bag in truck, window sticker, factory manuals & owners manual. Heads up isn't working and Temp, Oil & Volt gauges don't seem to be working very well - all read high. What would be the thing to do first - change fluids & filters? Will post pictures later. Cost was 1100, seemed like a fair deal - car had been in family since new.

Welcome to the club! I would certainly change all fluids (Oil, drop trans pan, coolant) and give the car a good tune up with plugs and wires. See if doing this changes your readings in your gauges. If not, I would try tracking down some wires and see if anything is corroded or dirty and try cleaning those.

Seems like a pretty fair price. The car is actually pretty low mileage considering the year! Nice to know the cars background since its been in the family its whole life! Anxious to see pictures when you post them!
