i just upgraded from a 96 bonneville se to a 2000 ssei on tuesday. the car has 122xxx on it and last night it started to make a ticking noise after i raced a gtp. the power on the car was less and i'm unaware what it might be. my friend told me to join a forum and look up some info, if someone could get back to me asap that would be awesome. thanks!

Can you get a video of it so we can hear it? Where is the noise from, top of motor, down low? Please be a little more descriptive.

Do you know any maintenance history of the car (lim gaskets, coolant loss, etc)?

its coming from the top of the engine really close to the supercharger, when i bought the car it had a slight miss, but not enough to effect power or rpms. the guy i bought it from unplugged the injector nearest to it and that effected the misfire the least of the injectors, and now thats right where the noise is coming from... i was told it more than likely lifters or rod bearings that had gone out. i'll upload a video as soon as i get a chance too.
