What a nice site this is. Thanks to those who made it happen.

By way of introduction, I'm Bill Buttermore, married to Judy for 39 years, kids and grandkids. Judy let me quit working for others in 1996. So, we have chosen not to be affluent. Geologist, Retired Research Scientist (man-made global warming is mostly nonsense - attempts to control the climate by reducing CO2 are costly and foolish) Retired Steam Locomotive Engineer (just took too much time away from Judy, and it was HOT in that cab!) Have owned (that's titled, licensed, insured, and driven) over 100 cars (lost count), not one of them new. To keep myself busy, I buy broken cars, fix them, drive them, and sell them at a rate of 3 or 4 per year. My garage is too small to park a car and work on it, so all my wrenching happens on a little concrete pad outside the garage door. When the weather is bad, I build leaded glass windows and try to keep the house from falling down around our ears.

These bills are nice to have around, but the ones in the mail I could do without.

Welcome home Bill.
