In order to maintain the White car, I've stooped low enough to buy a Green parts car.

Don't call me Haro, I don't plan on making this a habit. :beerchug:

New parts out, old parts in and hopefully sell it for close to what I paid for it when I 'm finished with it. I might even park the truck for the winter and drive the green car. Bound to be cheaper on gas.

Actually, it was the guy at the auto wrecking yard that talked me into it when he quoted me some prices for things I was looking for.

You guys down south with the huge population base don't know how good you got it when looking for spare auto parts.

For example:

Trim piece for under turn signal arm - $40
RS outer tail light - $75
end caps for seat rail - $15
Body parts - unfu***ing believable what they want. Up to 75% of new cost in most cases.

And that is if you search the yard and pull the part yourself.

The green machine is going to be paying it's own way, Greg's dad is going to get his space on the driveway back, Greg is going to recoop some of his loses, and I'm going to get spares and a winter beater.

How about the seats Paul? I'll trade your worn out leather seats for these pristine leather seats.

Ohhhhhh John! You are such a tease!

That would surely justify an Island trip over the next few months. :bkissbutt:

And the 96 will get the garage back, woot.

and then there will be space for the trucks.

Although it is kinda sad that Frankenstein is going to be a beater by the time you re-sell it. The car is mint with all its new parts intererior and exterior and in the engine bay.

It will be for the betterment of Pontiac Bonneville Club that all its donated organs are transplanted into continuing service.

You will need the room soon for the two new arrivals.

:laughing3: That's true John. We didn't get any snow last year except I ran into once in Gibsons. That's why I am not too worried.

.....but it's for those times I have to venture over to your area to visit Chynna.

Made it home finally. Glad you warned me about that ignition switch, it gave me a few minutes of anxiety when I couldn't get it to work and the ferry was loading. But a few well placed curses did wonders.
