OBD 2 is the second generation of On Board Diagnostics. Less trouble, and more parameters available to read and tune.

The 4T65E (and HD) is the new version of the transmission in your car, the 4T60E. The HD has stronger parts in it to hold up to the L67 (SC) motor.

i think you were confusing AL7 and L27. L27 is a motor, and AL7 is the 9-way adjustable power seats (apparently very comfortable)

I figured the OBD two scanners read more data points, but would the OBD two platform in a 93-95 SSei allow me to use a real time in the car while driving tuner? Are those commercially available?

I think I do have the A27 seat on my driver side.

I am just still sold on my car. I wanna do the motor trans swap for the L67 and 4T60HD. I would hate to have that plan spoil on me, so I'm still looking around. Thank you for your input :)

Can you tell me?

Front-back manual lever arm at the front of the seat down low.

The switches network on the side of the seat containing
2 paddle switches at either end of the panel -2 directions for each switch.
And a 4 way joystick in the middle

Then there's seat back forward or backward manual lever.

That would be 12 directions except that some of the switches/levers overlap in their functions.

I think my 94 SE is a special ltd edition or something.

It's got the multi adjustable seat
The stock spoiler on my car is bigger, and different shaped with a string of bake light led's on the trailing edge. The wheels I have are alloy and they may be stock. Not much difference, really. It's just something else.

The AL7 seats are all leather, and have the seat controls on the front center console, with a little lever to switch between sides.

Spoiler is most likely aftermarket.. picture?

The rims are probably from a grand-prix.. picture?

Your seats aren't AL7 each switch counts as 1-way.

So if you had 9 switches they're 9 way seats not 18way.

Not entirely true. I've seen AL7 cloth seats. I forget who had them but they were at WCBF08.

I don't think so, what gave you that idea? The tail fin has "Caldream molded" into it.

Dozens of people have tried to find more of or even identify them. They are the ones in the front in the pics section. One got stolen...:):angry4:

On the spoiler.. Looks the same as this one:
http://www.customautotrim.com/spoilers/ ... le/wg555l/
Which is not oem.

Something about those rims scream Grand Prix to me, anyways.. back to topic I guess?

Does the rim have any characters on it? Like chinese language, or gm really small

I'll check on the link, but if you could narrow down that rim...oh well I've been looking for those a half a decade.

your pic of that after market wing is NOT it. My spoiler has a center connection point. Not much of a biggie now, but it's nice to l know my car deserved some extra attention at the factory. I can take some better pics tomorrow if you like LOL :)

Since no one else has really said it, you'll be lucky to get >$1500 for your car. In the realm of cars, a stock 3800 N/A or S/C isn't "fast". the L67 is built very tough for boost, so it responds well to mods.

The cheapest way to make good power is some sort of build, L67, or L67 bottom end + turbo. Latter would be custom, but certainly very do-able if you have good mechanic skill. If you want to build something up to drop into your car you'll need to figure out a PCM strategy (OBD II swap would be easiest in a '94 IMO) and you'll need someone who can tune it. These things are all within realm of you learning them if you put enough time into it as well. If you do a full S2 swap, you'll definitely want a few FSMs.

I am leaning toward a 94 L67 drivetrain swap in. It seems straight forward as the mounts all match up as well with the wiring harness. A drivetrain swap to another platform is rough biz obviously, but I am ready. I can see a max of $1500 for selling my car so I don't see the point when I have so much invested into her. Two days down the road buying a new car I could have a major breakdown costing more than the swap into my L27. The performance gain would be relatively small, say 100 hp with the swap and some L67 performance mods, like rockers and P&P. for now though the rockers update on my 94 SE sound good.

Going with a SII L67 would be much wiser IMO. If you're going to go through the trouble to swap in a motor, why not swap in the SII that is much improved and has many more available bolt-on mods?

I honestly don't know the difference between a 94 S2 and S1. There's vin L (mine, non SC) and Vinc C ( the supercharged one). As far as compatibility goes everything leans toward swapping the Vin C for my Vin L out (94 on both).

Series II. 96+, although I'd stick with 98 and 99 as those years seemed to have most of the bugs worked out of them IIRC. If you use another H body parts car you shouldn't have any issues with getting it to fit in your 94.

Honestly I don't see the point of supercharging a Bonneville when Supercharged Bonnevilles already exist in large amounts with nicer trim, seats, electronics, suspension, etc. It would just be cheaper and faster in the long run.

Edit: And VIN C was the NA motor used in 87-91 cars. Definitely not SC.

I checked my manual. It's the Vin 1 94 Park Avenue Ultra L67 motor that I want. My blunder- oops
