I'm diagnosing an issues with my '97 LeSabre L67 swap (donor: 2002 SSEi)

Seems like the '00+ has the AD230 alternator. I have a spare known working alternator to test with, but let's not get too far ahead of myself (because the last 5 or 6 major issues have been, you guessed it, wiring related to the swap...)

Going off the diagrams for the '97 and '98, the PCM has two wires going to the alternator; one on terminal F and one on terminal L. The alternator used there is the CS144. The Camaro has a CS130D, wires hook up on that the same way.

As far as I know, that is the same way the alternator on the '00+ cars is hooked up, though the AD230 has an optional remote voltage sensing to compensate for voltage drop from the alternator to (in my case, the main fuse block).

Plan is to unplug the alternator plug, and manually excite the alternator to see if it even turns on first. If that works, I need to figure out what is different in the '00+ computer/wiring. I thought this should have been 'plug and play'?

I've got the CS130D on there from a W-body right now, that seems to be working. I'll have to strip and diagnose the AD230.
