I was under my 03 ssei and noticed both rear floorboards are rotted out, I can stick my hand up through to the carpet padding. Obviously I'm not under the car much as I don't do my own oil changes and my neighbor does most of my mechanical work for really cheap prices and, he's got a lift. I have noticed that the carpet has been wet sometimes but, never thought much about it. I don't see where the water could have come from to do this but, it's been a issue for a while to cause this big of an issue. Any idea where the water has come from?

Do you have a sunroof? Clogged drains are super common. The door water shields all eventually fail as well and let a bunch of water in. Has your battery ever leaked on you?

yes on the sunroof, door seals look in tact,
car has been sitting most of the time for the last 4 months. Battery area looks fine, how do I go about clearing the drains? Going to have to fix the floor before I sell it .
