My 98 SLE, the SSEI clone has developed a droopy rear bumper. It has dropped an inch or more from the lower lip of where the trunk lid starts. I've looked and I cannot see any readily apparent reason for the droop or any way to 'push' it back up into position. Any opinions or suggestions welcome.

Does it move if you lift it?
prob. the clips/ retainers have rusted - did you check the trunk. look behind that molding around air pump. there may be others at the bumper to q- panel also - pull back grey lining and look/feel for them
