Year and Trim: 1990 Bonneville SSE
I sold my '90 SSE. A big thank you to the help that members of this forum provided me over the last few years of ownership. I picked up an old '88 Eldo and did some work over the winter and spring. Here's a few pics and thanks again. I am sure I will be in another Pontiac in the future.

Thanks 96 and Nos. What drew me to this car was that it had the Pacific body kit from Huntington, CA on it. Back in '88, the dealer sent a base eldo to B&G Customs to have the canvas top, ASC sunroof and the fiberglass ground effects kit installed (plus the wonderful Gold Edition package...meaning every bit of trim was 24k gold plated). It gives the car a little more aggressive stance. I could have done without the canvas top but at least it was black.

That interior reminds me of the A-body Olds.

Thanks 95naSTA. This boxy, old eldo fits right in there with the Nissan Cube and the square Scion.

Mattstrike: Yup, outside has style queues from the early '80s Pontiac 6000. I was washing the shag carpet and was wondering where I could get a hold of matching shag floor mats. Well what do you know, Parts Galore comes through again. I opened the trunk of a '90 Fleetwood to find two fronts and one rear oem mats. They even had the wreath stitched in them in silver, my accent color. A little hot water and some Tide and they are good as new. I cut a piece of carpet from the Fleetwood and had an upholsterer stitch on the trim to make the missing rear mat. I am amazed at how well these cars were made. The floor pan and trunk are like new!

You would a got a kick out of seeing the completely exposed fuel injectors (there's two that sit above the throttle body protected by the air induction housing). You can actually see the gas mist when the engine is running and the air housing is removed. Well at least I could easily determine that I had a good mist pattern. I think this type is referred to "wet flow" injection.

I love 80's GM digital interiors. There was just something cool about them. Nice find in that good of shape to start with.

I'm not a huge fan of those but I can't argue with the boxy-ness. I was thinking more along the lines of the Lesabre T Type and Eurosport VR Celebrity. Both of which are also awesome looking cars.

As someone who always struggles with my car's "to do" list, I'm always amazed when someone does a complete refresh so well and over such a relatively short period of time. Considering I'd usually not look twice at that model year, Rentroren1 that Caddy looks amazing!
