Car will run all day on idle in the drive way, when warm as soon as you put it in gear it dies. We have replaced the battery, fuel pump (was told it loses fuel pressure when it dies), crank shaft sensor, many relays. I am really at a loss here. Even mechanic said they don't know and then said to pick up my car they would not work on it anymore.

Anyone have any ideas on what this could be? Oh yeah when it died, I was driving and when it was about to die I noticed that my window motors were very slow going up and down.

I would check out the battery connections and the ground buss locations under the carpet at the bottoms of the a-pillars. They are rectangular bulges in the harnesses.

If you put your foot an the throttle and hold 1000rpm does it die when you put it in gear? (make sure your foot is on the brake...)

The fact that your ignition switch had some issues makes me suspect that may be the problem.
These threads have info that may help (including a wiring diagram) , as the VATS may also be the cause
