Hey all, figured I'd try and help me buddy out who I've been helping swap an L67 into his 40th GP. If you guys saw my last post we were having wiring issues and had to bypass the starter. Well turns out he followed the wiring of the starter from the junkyard and ya know connected a 12v power to a ground... only fried one wire but we got it running and driving perfectly after fixing the also mixed up plug wires.... (I didn't supervise all this or a lot of these problems could have been avoided). Anyway it drove fine for a day or two with a P1810 (Automatic Transmission Fluid Pressure Valve Position Switch) code but then the trans started to act up. It usually shifts fine from 1st to 2nd but hardly shifts to 3rd and never to fourth. To my knowledge the code is thrown and the PCM cannot get a reading of trans fluid pressure to shift so defaults to max pressure. It definitely doesn't run right. I'm wondering if there is a relay or something you guys know that could fix this code the wouldn't involve tearing apart the trans or any suggestions on what to look at first.
