Ryan posted this in the craigslist section. I am interested in them, but I'm not sure if the backspacing is correct for our cars.

Yes. 5x115 is our bolt pattern.

Not sure on the offset, but they don't look to be much different than GXPs sized wheels.

Find out their dimensions and offset if you can.

As far as I can tell the offset is somewhere around 35mm. I'm not sure on that though. If someone could confirm that, it would be great.

Not sure what all you are looking for, but I believe they are 17x7's with the 5x115 bolt pattern and I think it is either a 35 or 40mm offset. Is this what you wanted? What is the offset on our cars?

So these should fit no problem, correct?

Correct, 17x7 with a 35mm offset should fit just fine. Stock for the Bonneville is 40mm.

Thanks. Will that 5mm difference make it look too weird?

You will never notice 5mm difference.

Thanks for all the input guys. Does anyone know about what it would cost to ship those four wheels from saginaw michigan to alton illinois? That is approximately 550 miles according to google maps.

get the weight(s), and quote it yourself on USPS, UPS or FedEx's websites.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking. I didn't know the weights, nor could I find them, that is why I asked. It is really hard for me to find info on these rims.

I would contact the seller to make sure he will ship them before you get to far into it.

Ok guys, last question, I promise. I just hate to start negotiating with this guy until I am sure they will work. This was posted in the other thread.
Quote:
ya they are 17.. that truck takes one of the strangest tire size.. and they dont "want" you to put any other size on it... thats why so many ppl that have them upgrade to a 16 or 18" rim...

(the orig size is only made by like 4 diff companies and no one ever has them in stock...)

however i still dont see why you cant put what ever size you want on there... but....

A 17x7 wheel is a 17x7 wheel, correct? There isn't any reason that my tires won't mount right on these wheels is there? The whole reason I am looking at 17's is to save money on tires since mine are still pretty new.

That's probably referring to the sidewall height. 2000+ Bonnevilles use 17" wheels, so you're fine. The Equinox stock tire diameter is probably very hard to achieve with a 17" wheel, so more common tires with the same diameter but a 16 or 18" wheel are cheaper. A 17" wheel is a 17" wheel, indeed.

Thanks everybody. I'm in contact with the guy, so I'll let you know how it goes. Money is pretty tight with school right now though, so it probably won't happen.
