I plan to remove the dexcool today after work. Do i simply drain the cooling system and then fill it with the non dex compatible prestone? or should i run some cycles with something else to clean it out?

thoughts??

Juan

Yeah, you've got to flush it. Are you familiar with flushing a cooling system?

And be sure the new mix is 70/30, coolant/water respectively.

This is a good thread by Bill Buttermore on reverse flushing.
