Ok i was on bout a 2 hour trip. Car has never ran hot. I get out the car and hear a bubbling noise coming from under the hood. It was the coolant boiling in the tank. The temp gage was at about 201. Next day same trip it doesn't do it. A couple days later same trip i get out and its white smoke from under the hood. Its been 2 weeks and it hasn't done it again since. But i want to fix the problem. Any ideas or experience with such?

Have the lower intake gaskets ever been changed? Also, check to make sure the coolant elbows aren't leaking. If they're the old plastic design, chances are they could be leaking, also causing the smoke. How's the coolant level? Does it look like it dropped any?

Faulty coolant temp sensor? Rad cap on correctly?

Along with what was mentioned above.

I'm not sure. I'm going to check the things you guys said when I get home from work. I'm thinking mabe it is the intake gasket tho. Cause I seen a slight run coming from there last time I checked.

Yep, lower intake gaskets are a common failure point. Make sure they aren't leaking internally into the oil (The oil will look milky and chocolatey). If they are, drain the oil asap and put fresh in. Replace the lowers with the metal redesigned gaskets and you'll be good to go for a long time. You can replace the supercharger and throttle body gaskets while you're in there, and it's a good time to tackle the coolant elbows with metal ones.

NAPA or Advance Auto. I got mine from Advance Auto. Any good parts store should have them. - BC
