Left work yesterday morning and developed a nasty missfire, figured I would take a quick video to show how is diagnose a bad coil. I start my diagnosis by starting the engine and removing removing the wires off the coil one at a time. If all six towers have spark then a plug or wire is bad, whichever one effected the engine the least when removed is the bad one, replace the plug first and see what happens then either swap or replace the wire. If one tower has no spark it is a bad coil, if two towers on on the same coil have no spark you either have a bad coil or bad ICM. Swap coils around to verify the missfire, if It follows the coil, the coil is bad, if it stays even with the different coil the problem is the ICM. In my case it was the tower for cylinder #2 had no spark so I swapped it with the coil off my SE which DID have L67 coils on it, not the stock L36 coils.
