I love the fenders and the quarter panels wish they would have stayed like that.

I wish they would have left the intercooler instead giving it a dinner plate for a blower pulley. That's what the L32 should have been. At the very least.

Pat did it in his Bonneville.

I think someone had a drawing for it in their 92-99.

I remember that.

The wheels and the flared out rear flanks were hawt. I wasn't soo crazy about the seats (the ones that actually came with the car look a lot better), HOWEVER, I liked the 2+2 style layout and the full length center console it had.

I remember that concept - it was hot stuff at the time, and the looks of that gen Grand Prix has remained a favorite with me. I think I've still got the Motor Trend issue that features that concept car.

For awhile, say mid 2000's, you could put a 2004 up on auction next to a 2003, and the 2003 would always command more $$$. That body style was just more pleasing.

A nice clean 03 can still bring more than an 04, seen it plenty. And the 03 will always be an easier sell.

I like 97-03, providing I see the right example.

The 04+ generation is a nicer car though. Built better, etc. I can't say I would pass a clean CompG up if given the chance. Especially in that burnt orange color.

It was a better put together car, but my big beef is with the interior. Aside from the gauges (which are excellent), the biggest complaint I have is NO DIGITAL HVAC headunit! That and it looks "clunky". But it is put together better by far...

Agreed Carl, that or white, with the Chrome Torque Thrust II wheels (or whatever they were called), like Will has on his Bonneville.

Yeah, there's just something about having a screen on the HVAC. I always use my auto function now-a-days.

They look great in white too, and that dark forest green. Those new chrome torque stars are fantastic as well. But I'd probably put bent 5s on it.

I'd love to have a dark blue metallic coupe from 97-03 gen. Although I always giggle that they only have one heated seat. LOL
