Just wanted to sound off about some recent things that I did to my 93 SSEi.
I replaced the coils(had a couple of failing ones)with MSD blaster coils. Then I did the sway bar end links.I can not begin to tell you what a HUGE change these two things alone have done for my car.Without this forum I am sure I would have spent alot of money, way more than I did. Thanks!!!!!!!!
On a side note, did my first burnout after putting the coils in,I have never driven that way before, but I could not resist testing the car,I left a nice set of black stripes  Now its back to old man driving for me,I want this car to last quite a while. Tim

Oh I am not done,I was so pleased with the results from these two simple fixes that I just had to say something.I plan on adding a CAI,and exhaust tips soon.I am also going to replace the ball joints and shocks and struts before winter.By the way the endlinks were not as easy as some have made them sound,at least mine weren't,they were rusted as can be and my sawsall blades were crap.I didn't want to go out after new ones at 10pm,so I sawed half way through each and snaped them off with wrenches. Then when I put the new ones in I had to pry up an inch or so to get them to fit on and dropped the crowbar on my friggen head(nice lump and cut) #-o
I have decided to wear mechanic gloves to minimize the knuckle busters that I have suffered, two on the swaybars.I am a fast learner on some stuff, but on others it takes some suffering for me to wake up :cussing:
I was going to bid on a supercharger on Ebay,missed out because I was at work,shoot it sold for 25 bucks,it was for a 93 too,oh well,I'm done rambling,Tim.

I don't know if I've told everyone here that I have MSD coils on the 94, but I do. They really do make a nice difference. :) What about the cat? I'm aware that a high flow catalytic converter can wake up the car just a tad. Probably saves you up to a mile per gallon in gas consumption.

I'm not so sure that the MSD coils are probably that much better than new stock ones, but i'm sure anything is better than old ones.

I switched from 12,000 mile Duralast coils to two MSD coils bought from a wrecked Bonneville and one new coil from some online performance shop. I didn't notice too much of a difference at first, but at WOT, the car runs smoother. Same pickup. My friend switched from his coils to my Duralast ones on his 1986 Olds 98 (LG3), and he noticed that the car didn't have as much pickup but had better WOT. Strange.

I said stock, as in AC Delco quality. I bought a duralast that didnt last but maybe a month or two. Duralast is a cheap Autozone brand. The mechanic we go to is a personal friend, and on GM cars he always uses AC Delco unless you cant afford them. I dont think there is a big difference between the delco's and the msd's.

I would say that new stock delcos would be better than msd coils.I just could not justify spending that much on coils right now.I need to finish other projects first.I will say that I like the looks of the msd's,and they perform very good as far as I can tell. Tim

I bought two for $28, including shipping, and one new one for ~$50. Not a bad deal.
