I shot him an email regarding the trim level, color, and what the exact definition of "minor issues" is. He has yet to respond. Honestly, given the rarity of the '87-'91 body style, I think $1000 is a good deal.

I don't know yet. Friggin' guy hasn't hit me back up, i'm expecting typical new england salty road rust on the bottom, maybe some shetty stereo wiring, faded, possibly peeling paintjob, maybe some bubbles or cracking.

Unless its super low miles or has had recent engine/trans work it will need some tlc. Mine was pretty rust free till last winter actually, then the salt just kicked its ass. Might be worth it if its in decent shape, they ride really well and are great for roadtrips. Its up to you really.

Too many variables but I'd say if it's clean and low miles, not a bad price. Anything other than that, don't pay more than $700.

I'm a firm believer that anything road worthy is worth $1000. Just my $.02.
