long story short...we brought my g/f's moms Bonneville back from Fla. She can no longer drive, or hasn't driven is 3 years. I drained the fuel, new battery, and a TON of cleaning (sat under a sap leaking tree). Car fired right up, drives fine. It has a small rust bubble on front of the hood, but its not thru the paint yet, other than that, its a no dent , straight car. 48,815 org miles! My question is, whats it really worth? We don't need it, as we both need our trucks for business and hobby's. I'm a car guy but KBB seems WAY high, and NADA seems way low...so I guess I'm asking for any opinions..and the car is now in Mich.

I would start with the KBB private party value. Put the car through state inspection, make sure the tires are not dry rotted (look for cracks in the rubber between the treads), check the spare tire well for water and fix any leaks in the trunk. You should make out pretty well.

What are the numbers KBB and NADA gave you?

I believe the best way to price a car is to look for the same make/model for sale in your area and watch them. The ones that are overpriced will sit for a long time, and the ones that are under priced will go fast.

I would say $3500-4k would be middle of the road. Considering the low miles, you could maybe stretch it to the right buyer, but it's still a 13 y/o grandma car to the average car-buyer.

I agree 3500 to 4000 sounds right. Especially due to the low miles and lack of water leaks, it should move quickly.
