I got a quote for $171.71 each, mounted and installed, for a set of brand new Goodyear TripleTreds. Cheapest quote I could find around here. The prices I've seen online are around $150, plus shipping, plus I'd have to pay for mounting and balancing on top of that. In other words, they are cheaper than what it would cost to get them online.

Anyone else recently get a set of TripleTreds? What did you pay? I'm talking about the 235/55/R17 size for my bent 5 spokes.

It's time for new ones on my car as the ones that came with my new wheels were doing BAD hydroplaning when I had to drive through a VERY hard down pour. Wheel spin at 65 is kinda scary actually.

I've got the same tire, different size on my wife's car. I believe we paid about 150.00 for them about a year ago. So I think that's a good price. I was going to get them about 3 months ago when I got my car, but no where in the nation had the size for our cars. I guess they have made more.

have you put any thought into hydroedge from michelin? mine are awesome. 140 installed and warranty from NTB.
I went to NTB only because if i hit a nail in the road or better yet....the tire wears bad, they replace it. woohoo

otherwise yes the $170 does sound good. considering your wheels are 1 size up from my 16's

I went and picked up a set and had them installed. They ride very nice. Quiet too. I guess they should for the price.
