recently I noticed the COMPNINE site is back up, I think this was very popular when it was previously available about a year ago. It gives you the RPO's for a specific VIN, and the "popularity" of each RPO

It tells me that of the 84,306 SE Bonnevilles made in 1995, my wife's is the ONLY ONE with its unique list of options? Probably because of the employer's corporate lease that the previous owner told me he bought it from...

I knew that this car not having a trunk lid spoiler was rare, just didn't think it was THIS rare (only 151 of them opted to delete this feature (D58) in 1995!) More proof that these cars need a rear spoiler to improve their appearance.

Also only about 3200 of them had the factory installed CD player like the one still working in this car.

Honestly, I think the most I've seen is like 1 of 10. Most cars are pretty rare once you go down to each option, including fleet and delivery options, etc.

AND built on THAT date your car was. People think their car is rare except the next day there were 20 built with the same options at that particular plant.

Thats what people dont get.

I will have to check mine again, but I think mine is 1 of 400.

It was also a rental, so I wonder if they just put in an order for all of them exactly the same.

IIRC all Suburban/Tahoe's of that gen were built in Janesville. Our '02 was, our '11 was built in Arlington, TX.

Really glad to see Compnine back up and running! Ran all the vehicles, past and present, and amusingly, they provided a PDF of the original window sticker for the Fusion, along with the normal report! Pretty sweet!

Everyones is rare. There was 1 other built the same day, at the same factory, with your options. But could have been 20 matching yours the next day.

Rarity...... Found 8,160 vehicles matching your year and model in our database LOL.
There are 1 1998 BONNEVILLE SSE 4 DR vehicles (0.012%) matching your exact options list. There are 3 (0.037%) with at least as many options.
