I want to replace the weathered chrome strips on the door moldings and rear bumper on my 2001 SE. I think 1/2" half round would work,but with out removing the molding cannot be sure. Anyone know for sure what would work.

Thanks to harofreak00-the 1/2 inch half round chrome is so close to the original chrome strips you cannnot tell the difference. Replaced one door chrome and the rear bumper strip. The old strip just pulls off, you use your finger to roll off any remaining glue and replace the strip. This stuff is available from a number of stores on the internet, just Google it.

You can also use adhesive remover to remove the left overs of the tape so you dont get your skin on your finger doesnt get chewed up.
