I saw a Bonneville, which was said to be a 1994, but might have been a 1993 (or theoretically 1995). I didn't find any "SSE" labels on it, so I asume it was a SE. It had gold honeycomb wheels, and a label rear saying "Gold Edition". What is this gold edition? A special package? What does the packaage include?

The car was green, and looked like this from rear. Same bumper, rear reflectors, etc. It has "PONTIAC" in gold, and also the label "Gold Edition".
The front bumper was also a bit different from my 1994 SSE, eg. the front dim lights where not as centered.

I'm asking because I could buy the car. It's hasn't been driven since 2008, and it has only 60k miles on the odometer ... :) But (sorry SE-guys), is it "worth" to buy a SE? Less good ride, than in the SSE (suspension, performance, etc.)?

It's one of two things...one, a dealer-only (and dealer-specific) upgrade package...nothing to get too excited about really. The other is the Autozone upgrade package, which anyone with 20 dollars can easily order over the counter :booty2:

And I've seen those peel and stick badges on the internet for 10 years too. Even longer ago in auto parts stores. Anyone can buy them and stick them on. Even if it was from the dealer, it means nothing and adds no value or rarity.

My '95 had the gold lettering option, but it wasn't what I would call a "gold edition" or anything.

Gordy, we're talking about an actual badge that says "Gold Edition".

It's a plastic cheapo East LA thing. Anyone can buy one.

There was another member who had one with a gold edition badge, and all the side trim and stuff was gold, and it had the gold 'laces.
