As my search for a new car when I turn 18 grows. I started to look at Park Avenues. But I noticed their on the C-Body platform. What is the difference between those and the H-Body a SSEi is on. Like what would be the differences betwwen and 2003 SSEi and a 2003 Ultra. Do they still have the FE2 suspension and such? Any info would be great. I've always been curious. Thanks!

Depends on the years you are looking at...

the H 86-91 share the same under pinnings as the 85-96 C Body... The C Body was in simple terms a slightly stretched H body... The Newer H Body 00+ shares a lot of the G platform... The 00+ buick LeSabre and Bonneville's are more or less auroras with pontiac or buick skin... The 97+ Park Ave more or less is built on close to the same platform..

There is a lot that can be done with either generation... But the 97+ Buick Park Ave is a good car all around..

On the 2003 Bonnevile and Ultra, you can swap the swaybars, springs, and I believe the rear struts, but not the front struts. The steering rack is also swappable, IIRC. The control arms all around are identical, as well. I think the rear subframe is also a shared part.

As well, you can also use the springs from the later years of the FWD SLS/STS, which is why the Eibach STS lowering springs have been used on the Bonneville and Riviera, which also shares some of the other parts mentioned. The twin-piston brakes from the late 90s/early 00s DeVille are also a direct bolt-on.
