What are the differences in the models of Bonnevilles? SE compaired to SLE etc.
I know...I know.....not the smartest question but only way to get the right answer is to ask the question. And then listen to the answer.

This is what I could find on the Club site. I am sure there is much more. My search skills are not very good.

Year and Trim: .
93 SSEi
95 SLE (SC)
97 Buick LeSabre
For the 2000 and newer generation, in GENERAL TERMS:

SE. Base model, pretty bare-bones. Foglights spaced farther apart, not as much lower body cladding.
SLE. Mid-model, loaded, leather, same body effects as the SSEi, but not supercharged.
SSEi. Top model. Loaded, everything pretty much standard, supercharged engine.

The SLE's had no hud, no memory seats and no M90 Blower... But My SLE is loaded with every option it could have...

Are the options on a SLE able to be added to a SE? I realize interior of course.

your talking SE vs SLE right?

gear ratio is also different between SE and SLE's
2.84 vs 3.05

2000+

Some of the SE's had an option package that included the 3.05 gears... A lot of the time you'd find them with the console shift and alloys and a rear deck wing.. If you see one like that or with leather then there is a good chance it has 3.05 gears...

Its almost the same for the older Bonnevilles too.. the 3.06 and 3.05 were usually part of a package...

LOL....didn't mean to start a small up rising in the force....lol
Mine has console with floor shifter, sunroof, rear spoiler. Does it mean it has 3.05 gears? How do I find out what gears it has?
Sorry for all the basic questions.

"Floor shifter".. For some reason that one amused me. Just because they keep sliding out of sight nowadays. I don't think Bonnes have had those in awhile, and if they did it was early 90s last wasn't it? (i'm not sure, just curious) But i do remember that that was like the deciding factor on whether or not you got a Buick Regal (floor shift) or a Century (stalk shift).
