Year and Trim: 2001 bonneville SSEI
The Car is a 2001 SSEI. It has 76,810 miles. Outside & Interior from pictures are in excellent shape. I haven't driven it yet, and wanted to get some opinions on what i should look for as possible issues?

Here is a link to the car http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?ct=u&car_id=295462567&dealer_id=1390338&car_year=2001&doors=&systime=&model=&search_lang=en&only_photo=1&start_year=2001&feature13=sunroof&keywordsrep=&keywordsfyc=&highlightFirstMakeModel=&search_type=used&distance=200&min_price=2000&drive=&rdm=1299823762886&marketZipError=false&advanced=y&fuel=&keywords_display=&lastBeginningStartYear=1981&end_year=2012&showZipError=n&make2=&certified=&engine=&feature7=leather+seats&page_location=findacar%3A%3Aispsearchform&body_code=0&transmission=&default_sort=newsortbyprice_DESC&max_mileage=&address=30184&color=&sort_type=priceDESC&max_price=7500&awsp=false&make=PONT&seller_type=b&num_records=25&cardist=149&standard=false

I am familiar with the 3800 Super Charged engine some what as i had a 2001 GP GTP that was totaled about 6 mons ago(August 8, 2010 had JUST finished having the Tranny replaced at 180K THE SAME DAY!!!), lady rear ended me going 60MPH, i must say it held up pretty good, just too much damage to the rear. Anyway I just really loved the power i got from this vehicle, the ride was nice, sporty enough, and I have fallen in love with Pontiac and from what I've read the 3800 is one of GM's best motors. I really like the look of the Bonneville and really want one over a GP this time, and i think this is a great price(i will haggle ofcourse).

Anyhow, I would really appreciate any help as to anything i should look hard at, I am familiar with the 3800 Super Charged engine some what as i had a 2001 GP GTP that was totaled about 6 mons ago, lady rear ended me going 60MPH, i must say it held up pretty good, just too much damage to the rear. Anyway...thanks in advance.

@ Seekinghighhp- thanks, I will def. look at the CV axle & try to listen for a roar from the front wheels, since I know i had that problem with my GP GTP, i had to have my wheel baron's changed twice while i owned it, and i had to have the CV axle's replaced on both sides as well....hoping with this one having pretty low miles not gonna have any problems for a while.

Anyone have anything else??

While the list posted is great for specific issues, give it a good drive, and have a mechanic do a prepurchase inspection.

If on your test drive you hear any noises or any concerns, bring it up as documented before you bought it. When I bought mine the dealer replaced the intermediate steering shaft before I would sign any papers because it clunked on the test drive.
