It's so nice to finally be back on the road with my 99 se. Better than new, at least I think so. I have had it apart since before christmas. Did the uim, lim, water pump (series 1), 180 degree thermostat, belt tensioner, hoses, belt, plugs, wires, and a intense fwi kit. Was a lot of work but I took my time and are very pleased with the results. I will get around to posting some pictures in performance and brainstorming for the fwi.

With only 98,000 on her I know I just gave her the needed care that was needed to get to 300,000 and maybe beyond. Being a government car that came from florida she is rust free. Kind of feel bad for bringing her up to Michigan, all the salt at least right now. Just got to wash the under side every weekend to help get rid of it. Probably do some under coating /rust proofing this summer.

Thanks you guys for all the information and fast replies.

I've only had my 04 SLE a couple of weeks but I have much in the works to get done, maint as well as a few mods. Another board I used to be on had license plate frames in their merchandise section for 100k miles club, 200k and 300k. I've never owned a car long enough to log those kind of miles, but I am tempted with this one. I kept my GP for six years, and that was a record for me, I hope I can do the same and better with the Bonne.

Good luck with your ride, and long live the Pontiacs!
