What Camaro muffler? Stock? Magnaflow? Borla? Flowmaster? They all sound different.

The top 3 preferred here on this forum in order:

Magnaflow
Flowmaster 80
Hooker Aerochamber

Do NOT delete your resonator for any of them. YouTube will not accurately represent true sound. No low-quality recording can. Since this isn't a mechanical problem, I'll move this topic. Santonio, it would be a big help if you would read the section descriptions before posting.

Just curious why. I put an exhaust from a lesabre in my 95 and it had no resonator. All seems fine 3K later.

It will sound raspier and poppier, just worse in general (according to most tastes)

Your 95 had a resonator from the factory, and it's not terribly obvious. Someone else removed or you missed it. V6 exhaust sounds rotten without one, and it doesn't hurt performance. I ADDED a resonator to the Zilla for that reason, as 93 was the last year that didn't have one from the factory.

Ok, thanks. I did notice it seemed a bit louder after the swap. I may replace the exhaust with a new one so I'll be sure to get a resonator.

Your exhaust is stainless steel with mandrel bends. Don't replace it. Just add a resonator and save a few bucks. You'll get a deeper more mellow grumble.
