I have just installed a top of the line Audio Video. Alpine 7 inch touch screen in the front and two 9.5 Alpine touch screens in the head rests. the Alpine has Navigation and all the bells and whistles. I installed a K&N cold air intake system and I also installed the top of the line Astrostart. Now Im at a stand still. I want to put more on the vehicle but I done know what else to do, could I get some insight from you aces here at the best forum available. All ideas would be much aapriciate. Are all your maintenance items in good working order? Brakes go meat left on them? How do your tires look? Coolant look fresh?

Do you mean a CAI with a K&N? I wasn't aware that K&N made an FIPK (Fuel Injection Performance Kit, their own branded CAI) for these cars.

Um, there isn't much else. You could do mufflers if you want more sound, otherwise there aren't any other performance mods for the GXP. I would replace the spark plugs, have the coolant, trans fluid and brake fluid flushed, and give the whole car a thorough inspection.

The cool air radiator is branded by lenix and the K&N filter is hard piped right off the air intake into the fender where the cool air radiator resides. This is moreless a one off because a buddy and I did the fabrication for the piping and running the coolant lines. Ive done the oil, spark plugs, coils for the plugs, tires only have 3000 miles on them, the car has 42,837 on her. I purchased it from an older couple who traded in and bought new Bonnevilles every year. The Bonney's quit in 05 so thats where it ended. They used it for a couple trips to Florida and Virginia, other wise the car was immaculate, I love how the older people cherish their vehicles and keep them clean and in great shape. The Exhaust would be fun but I would need to borrow a buddies welder. When Im install anything after market or a tune up I do the work myself because I cant see spending $80 an hour for a mechanic to do what I can do in the same amount of time. Thanks guys for the input.

My recommendation for Coolant and Brake Fluid flushes still stands. Dex is rated for 5 years/100k, and your car was built no later than May 05, so that's over 5 years, and brake fluid wicks moisture, especially when sitting. Trans could probably wait 10k.

Zilla, I wish I had the engine smarts like you do because I would love to bump the HP up like you got on your SSEi, I seen what you did to both your vehicles and I am very impressed. Take care and I think Im going to flush the raidator,brake lines and trans fluid.

Zilla is in a totally different class. It's quick for it's vintage, but there are faster Series 2 cars here. Granted there are few that can beat me off the line or to the 1/8 mile, but Zilla runs out of breath on the big end of the track due to the fact that it's a low-end torque motor. If I de-modded Zilla and put all the parts on the SLEeper, the SLEeper would be quicker and faster.

Your GXP is a horsepower motor, but unfortunately has dick for an aftermarket. You have to get creative if you have money to spend. Don't rule out suspension and paint as outlets for your spare cash.

Is it ever! I was used to the 95 SSEi and when I planted the GXP for the first time it was almost like "one steamboat... two steamboat... thr--OHMYGAWD!"
