Need a 180* thermostat for next summer? Take a look at this:
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Duralast-Thermostat/1999-Buick-Lesabre/_/N-jd47xZ9pd73?counter=1&itemIdentifier=615480_0_1632_93208

It's suspiciously similar to this:
http://intense-racing.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=IR&Product_Code=TST-1x0&Category_Code=CS

And, note the suspiciously similar blurbs on the websites:

Intense:
- The flow opening is 50% larger than OEM, allowing our thermostats to give you the extra flow you need without being hampered by the small factory opening that wasn't designed with maximum performance in mind

- Stainless steel construction

- Self-cleaning

- Heavy duty

AZ:
Larger than OEM opening allowing for up to 50% increase in coolant flow. Triple bridge opening design for increased stability and strength. Manufactured from high quality components to meet the demanding conditions of the automotive cooling system. Manufactured with OEM specifications and processes. Copper case and wax compound assures rapid response to temperature changes in the coolant. Offset design, air relief valve, and OEM style seals included where applicable. Larger than OEM opening allowing for up to 50% increase in coolant flow. Triple bridge opening design for increased stability and strength.

* Larger opening for increased coolant flow
* Increased strength and durability
* High grade stainless steel and copper construction
* Meets or exceeds OEM standards
* Consistent and precise response to cooling system needs
* 100% tested and calibrated

Don't get me wrong, supporting a 3800 vendor is well and good. But knowing there's another choice is always good...

I agree. If you are ordering other stuff from Intense, by all means throw in a 180* T-stat. But don't call intense just for one, lol.

Yeah, agreed. Since other stuff is likely being ordered, having a new t-stat arriving on your doorstep sure beats driving to the store for one. Plus you're already paying for shipping. After tax the price is very similar.
