Follow my writeup on the TransGo kit. It'll save you some time and hassle.

And, re-use the OEM tranny pan gasket if it's not leaking. It's built far better than the new rubber gasket included with the filter.

UPDATE:

Pan is dropped, fluid and filter are out.

Accumulator is removed, shift kit installed, and accumulator reinstalled.

Preparing to put it all back together and refill.

The fluid was BROWN. I am very disappointed in myself I did not do this earlier. :(
