Hey guys,

I just recently purchased some LED strip lights and wanted to wire them into a seperate switch so i can determine when they are on or off....My question is whats the best way to get power to them? Would it not be wise to run right to the battery for voltage purpuses?

Another thought i had, was wire them in as my DRL's but i dont have a clue how to do this (I do understand i wouldnt have the switch to control when there on or off)....unless there is a way i dont know about.....any suggestions/thoughts on this?

A few mods..

Do you care to have them on when you don't have the key in? If not, look for switched power to the radio or the like. Or you could siphon off power from the interior lights circuit near the fuse panel.
