What did you do to your car today?

I rotated my tires and topped off the A/C. Now the A/C blows colder, and I found another rust hole to patch this summer.

I grabbed my sunglasses out of it. That's it.

Pulled it out of the driveway, and backed it back in (it sat in the garage since Friday since we were at our cottage in northern MI).

The SLE doesn't get driven much - only put 600 miles on it in two weeks. However, I virtually live in my Sonoma.

Why wouldn't you drive the SLE? Still working on getting parts for it?

I looked at it. Just got back from a sunburnt weekend at the cabin and we took Shannons car.

Nothing, it just sat in the garage with three damp beach towels carefully yet careless draped on the roof.

Actually, I got all the parts for it. Just missing a key fob, but that's no big deal since I'm getting a remote start system.

For the time being, the truck is fitting my needs better with rehabbing houses and being a landlord. This weekend I had to take a 7' plow to our cottage for our Gator and a roll of carpet for our pontoon. So, I drove the Sonoma and my wife drove the Tahoe.

During the week, the truck is used to move materials from Home Depot to job sites.

Finished up the shift kit install, got it running, broke the cam in, changed the oil, washed it, then went out to play

Looked at it as I backed out of the driveway in my truck.

That's about it...

I washed the GTP yesterday morning.
Then in the afternoon I did the worst wax job ever.

I have no clue why -I was in the shade and it was a little breezy.

The car was clean, albeit, a few water spots, but somehow, my Meguairs Professional Glaze #16 paste wax took every imperfection in the paint and the water spots and made them massive white spots and 50x as noticeable. :eek2:
I'm going to go back and try some quick detailer today to see if that will fix it, but I have a feeling either a good buffing or wet sanding is going to be it's only fix. Claybar may not be the answer to this one -little tiny chips are massive white spots and I can't get the wax out/off.

Replaced the brake pads and made a second attempt to fix the exhaust leak from the PLog to the crossover and failed again. :???:
