does anyone know of a good rebuild manual or video for the 4t65e hd? i need a rebuild and cant afford to have someone rebuild it. so i'm doing it myself. i've never rebuild a trans in my life. any help is appreciated.

My suggestion is to find a good condition used transmission and put it in. Transmissions are extremely complex, and not something the average joe can do. It is a lot of very intricate work, and requires no errors.

well i think im gonna get a used trans as i realize its probably gonna be cheaper. i dont consider myself an "average joe" because i've been involved with cars ever since i was about 4 yrs old. and all my jobs have been in shops. my uncle also rebuilds ford transmissions as a side job and said he would help me with mine but i think since this is my daily driver i'm not gonna take the chance of screwing it up. but probably gonna rebuild my old trans as a learning experience.
