Not gonna do what again Paul? Test the brakes at a stop sign or do 200 ? :helpsmilie: :laughing3:

I am loving these brakes. No more vibration from warped rotors. Even after doing the brakes the first time with the cheap rotors and pads it never felt like this. Thing stops on a dime now. To finish the job, I have an appointment at the local dealer to do a flush on the system.

Machining tolerences are key to quality components.

Ahh, you know the importance of replacing/flushing of your complete brake fluid every couple years.

Yes, the fluid is quite brown. Just did the truck a couple weeks ago and it made a lot of improvement in stopping.

I took the truck to a local shop to have it flushed and they had no clue about activating the ABS, so I just took it to the dealer so it was done right. Will do the same with the car, my family's safety is worth the $150 they charged to run a gallon of fluid through it.

Yes, but I have a guy on the inside shipping one out after a turnaound from the coaters. Yes Paul, I am keeping the resonator. All I am replacing is the cat.

Ordered the cat today. I have the stock exhaust off and the front header on. One of the studs on the rear does not want to come out, so I need to get one of those stud extractors.

Just to update the header issues. Not only did they send me the wrong y-pipe, but the wrong rear header also. I was having problems with getting the crossover to fit into the y-pipe because it was hitting the primary to cylinder #6.

A little info here: They make 2 sets of headers. One has 1 5/8 inch primaries and the others have 1 3/4 inch. The front header and crossover have a tag welded to them with the part numbers stamped into them, the rear header does not. I had to remove the rear header and put a caliper on them to find they were not the right ones. I ordered the 1 5/8 inch primary set and got a mix of both. Front header, crossover and extension were for the 1 5/8. The rear header and y-pipe was for the 1 3/4.

So, currently waiting on a rear header.
