I used a bit like this one in my Dremel to knock off the plastic alignment channels and to narrow the center tab: http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=94703-353-194-03&lpage=none&cm_mmc=search_gps-_-gps-_-gps-_-Dremel%20High-Speed%20Cutter

Plug and play on the wiring only. You still need to remove part of the top tab to have it fit in the socket.

Truthfully, this is so easy, I don't see the need to go to the trouble for the wiring. It's just another added point of failure if anything goes wrong with the adapter. I lost a passenger side light couple weeks ago. Stopped at Pep Boys and in 5 minutes, had the bulb modded and installed right there in the lot. Piece of cake. Mmmmm...caaaake *drool*

I actually didn't cut the top tab when I installed mine. I was wondering why they were tough to get out when I swapped them. I may have to cut that little bit off.

Tried the new 9005 night hawks high beams in the low beam sides of the 94 and WOW, I can see again!!!

Very noticeable improvement. Before, I honestly couldn't tell they were on, most of the time.

Got to do this in the 00 now.

Now, what the hell took you so long to do it :bstooges:
Its nice to see the deer(you do have deer where you live don't you) at night a little sooner so you have more time to do what you have to do to miss them.

I am done with modding for the sake of modding.

The lights were a necessity. Since we are now using the Grizz as a DD, it was necessary.

The Bullet remains waxed and spotless in its garage next to the Firebird, until March sunshine returns.
The only mods I will be doing from now on will be required maintenance mods.

It tooks me so long because I had just replaced all eight bulbs on both Bonne's with Silverstars. Those suckers are over priced. I was waiting for them to burn out.
Unfortuneately for me it will take 10 years at the rate I have them on.

Speaking of required maintenance, anyone ever tried a powered trunk opener? That trunk lid on the Grizz is heavy with only one working spring.

Paul, why haven't you replaced the broken spring? I was able to get it as a dealer part when mine broke a year ago.

I thought you might have seen my other post.

No. The part is no longer stocked. Anywhere. :angry4:

I snatched a complete assembly out of an Olds but the springs are smaller and I don't think will handle the heavy SSEi lid.

Does anyone notice that the drivers side light is not parallel to the passenger side?
I had them professionally aligned at the dealer last year.
The high beams are aligned and they are in the same housing as the low beams....wtf!?? :ack: :???:

I noticed that too. I think it's to avoid blinding other drivers. When your highs are on, there's not supposed to be oncoming traffic.

Yes I know the low beams normally point right but it appears that the factory has also biased the left front to go left more than the right. So they both converge on the same spot but the high beams go to infinity.

To be honest I don't like the high beams on the 94 cause they are almost useless at seeing anything 100 feet in front of the car. :angry4:

When I did my HID's and got really crazy with aiming them properly, I noticed that they seemed to be really biased towards the right. Maybe it's just the kit, but I had to adjust them a fair amount to get everything centered up properly.
