What is the difference between a nose bearing and the supercharger? Where is the nose bearing located? Because im getting the same problem once I accelerate and I come to a stop at a light I hear some loud rattling.

Rattling is typically the coupler in the nosedrive. What you describe at idle, particularly if you describe it as LOUD would more likely be a harmonic balancer (crank pulley). Does the noise go away as you nudge the rpm's up? Is the noise still there with both drive belts removed (don't run long this way, just long enough to diagnose).

The harmonic balancer is two pieces of steel filled in between with rubber dampening material. As they age, the rubber degrades, cracks, or tears, allowing the 'stops' between the two halves to clatter against each other. Typically only at idle, and going silent under slight accelleration.

Yea the noise goes away if i hit the gas (nudge the rpm).
I never tried to take the belts off and just let it run what would that tell me if i take them off and the noise continues?
Or if i take them off and the Noise stops?

if you take the belt off and the noise goes away its most likely the coupler in the SC. if it doesn't, it is an internal engine problem.

WAIT a minute. Let's not jump to the doom and gloom just yet. This is WAY off base. If the rattling is still present after you remove the belts, it's very UNlikely to be an internal engine problem, and VERY likely to be the harmonic balancer as I suggested above. Series 1 Harmonic balancers have a habit of failing with AGE after about 10 years or more. It doesn't seem to be mileage related. I also suspect Series 2 harmonic balancers will suffer the same fate in the future.

Both of my cars have done this (93 and 95, both supercharged). Supercharged balancers (like yours) are probably more prone to the issue because of the double belt path. Let's just do the no belt test (cool engine, just for a couple minutes which should be long enough to figure it out). We'll take it from there when you tell us what you find from that test.

internal was a bad word. But it means it's not a belt driven accessory obviously. It's something more part of the engine.
